The OeAD is Austria’s Agency for Education and Internationalisation. By funding projects and mobilities the OeAD enables researchers and students from across the globe to pursue their scientific endeavours and gain international experience.
To give an example: In the pre-pandemic year 2019 the OeAD welcomed almost 19,000 incoming students and researchers and facilitated approximately 23,000 mobilities of outgoing researchers and students and was involved in over 1,222 projects.
